We at the DCT-CCJE envision an institution of learning where Criminology graduates excel in law enforcement and public safety immerse with Dominican Values in serving God, People and Country.

Mission

We at the DCT- Criminal Justice Education commit to ensure criminology graduates to become effective and efficient leaders in law enforcement and safety by providing with an adequate, up-to-date education and training programs that will equip and prepare them to become exemplary and global citizens with competitive knowledge, skills, abilities, values and well- founded character.

Goal

The Criminal Justice Education offers a Criminology Program designed to develop men and women into well-rounded professionals by providing them with thorough trainings and preparation to render law enforcement and public safety duties and responsibilities for nation building and serve as role model of public service.

Philosophy and Objectives

The DCT-CCJE upholds the belief that criminal justice is fair and just. It means that in a democratic realms of society, justice is for all and no one is above law.

1. 1. To transform students into God-centered, God-fearing Filipino citizen with the sense of responsibility and respect for human dignity; and guided by Dominican values such Fides (Faith), Patria (Patriotism), and Sapientia (wisdom).
   
   

2. 2. To produce graduates who have acquired analytical, interpersonal, intrapersonal and extra personal, self-regulatory, and professional qualities through enhanced curricula and training programs and expositions aligned with the Commission on Higher Education Policies, Standards and Guidelines and in the world of work.
   
   

3. 3. To prepare students for the workplace through the required On-The-Job training program in the different law enforcement agencies and private institutions giving particular attention to actual practice and manipulation of tools and equipment and performing the pertinent duties and responsibilities.
   
   

4. 4. To equip students with the skills in decision-making, critical thinking, problem solving and research application in relation to law enforcement and Public safety.
   
   

5. 5. To be aware of their role and active participation in environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
   
   

6. 6. To acquire physical stability, social skills, collaboration and team work, the students are encouraged to participate in wholesome sports and related activities.
   
   

7. 7. To foster social awareness on political and economic issues, the students are guided to participate in seminars, conferences and involvement in school organizations and local youth activities.
   
   

8. 8. To build up communication with the alumni on the status of their achievements and involvement on their chosen field.
