Admission Requirements

DCT Admission

The Dominican College of Tarlac admits students of any nationality, Religious belief or any cultural affiliation in accordance with the charter of the school and the laws of the Philippines.

PRE-ELEM – ELEMENTARY

  1. Age Requirements

    2. Enrollees for each level must meet the required age on or before August 31st of the School Year they will enroll in.

    • Pre-Elementary
      1. Nursery 1 – 2 ½ years old
      2. Nursery 2 – 4 years old
      3. Kinder – 5 years old
    • Elementary
      1. Grade 1 – 6 years old

  2. Enrolment Credentials

    • Photocopy of Kindergarten Certificate of Completion (incoming Grade 1 pupils)
    • Photocopy of PSA authenticated Copy of Birth Certificate (original copy to be presented)
    • Photocopy of Baptismal Certificate, if Catholic (original copy to be presented)
    • Original Form 138-A/SF 9 (Learner Progress Report Card)

  3. Transferees

    • Only those with good scholastic standing and valid reason for transfer may apply for admission. The same credentials are asked to be submitted.

  4. Satisfactory rating in the entrance examination and the final interview.

JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

  • Incoming Grade 7 Students

    • Grade 7 enrollees coming from public and private schools except elementary graduate of Dominican College of Tarlac are required to pass the reading and written entrance examination.

    Upon registration, the following documents are submitted in a long brown envelope:

    • Three (3) pcs. recent 2×2 ID picture (white background)
    • Photocopy of PSA authenticated Copy of Birth Certificate (original copy to be presented)
    • Certified true copy of Baptismal certificate (if Catholic)
    • Certification of Good Moral Character
    • Original and Photocopy of Form 138-A/SF 9 (Grade 6 Learner Progress Report Card)
    • Latest Income Tax Return for the previous year or Certificate of Tax Exemption or Municipal Certification of Unemployment of Parents/Legal Guardian

  • Transferees

    • Enrolment of transferees is to be approved by the principal or registrar who will personally evaluate their credentials. Transferees with back-subjects or failing grades are not admitted

    Upon registration, the following documents are submitted:

    • Original and Photocopy of Form 138-A/SF 9 (Grade 6 Learner Progress Report Card)
    • Certification of Good Moral Character
    • Grade 6 Certificate of Completion (for Grade 7)
    • Photocopy of PSA authenticated Copy of Birth Certificate (original copy to be presented)

    Transferees are placed under the academic and character probation status for a period of one year.

SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Upon registration, the following documents are submitted in a long brown envelope:

  • Three (3) pcs. recent 2×2 ID picture (white background)
  • Photocopy of PSA authenticated Copy of Birth Certificate (original copy to be presented)
  • Original and Photocopy of Form 138-A/SF 9 (Grade 10 Learner Progress Report Card) with LRN for Public JHS students
  • Certificate of Junior High School Completion
  • Certification of Good Moral Character
  • ESC certification Letter from JHS principal format available thru the ESC IMS (for students from Private who are ESC grantees)
  • QVR certificate for students from private school who have been qualified thru Online Voucher Application Program (OVAP)
  • Reservation receipt if any

COLLEGE

  • New Entrants (First Year College)

    • Original and Photocopy of Form 138-SH/SF 9 (Grade 12 Learner Progress Report Card)
    • Three (3) pcs. recent 2×2 ID picture (white background)
    • Certification of Good Moral Character
    • Photocopy of PSA authenticated Copy of Birth Certificate (original copy to be presented)
    • Photocopy of Marriage Contract (if applicant is married)
    • Latest Income Tax Return for the previous year or Certificate of Tax Exemption or Municipal Certification of Unemployment of Parents/Legal Guardian or Certificate of Indigency
    • Certification of 4Ps Membership if any

  • Transferees

    • Original and Photocopy of Form 138-SH/SF 9 (Grade 12 Learner Progress Report Card)
    • Three (3) pcs. recent 2×2 ID picture (white background)
    • Certification of Good Moral Character
    • Photocopy of PSA authenticated Copy of Birth Certificate (original copy to be presented)
    • Photocopy of Marriage Contract (if applicant is married)
    • Honorable Dismissal/Transfer Credential (Certificate of Eligibility to Transfer)
    • Copy of Official Transcript of Record (OTR) or Copy of Grades (for evaluation)

    All applicants must pass the DCT Admission Test

    Applicants must have a general weighted average (GWA) of 85% for BEEd, BSEd & BSA and 80% for othe courses.
