The Dominican College of Tarlac is established, primarily, for the integral education of the person. As such, it aims to provide quality formal education within an environment conducive to learning cognitively, affectively and psycho-socially. DCT scribes battle at PSPC

“Planting the Seeds of Good Journalism among the Youth”. One hundred eight journalists from the Dominican College of Tarlac (DCT) participated in the recently held Private Schools Press Conference (PSPC) that was held at Gerona Institute, August 11 to 13. “I feel pressured, because of the 22-year over all championship that we have to maintain. As the SPA, I felt that I still need a lot of experience to gain but lucky for me, I have very talented and passionate writers and I believe those two traits of them brought us our victory,” Ms. Aiki Hipolito Konno, school paper adviser of the Dominican Gazette, said in an interview.

DCT conducts training for campus journalists

“The three-day training is meant to hone the writing skills of our journalists,” Ms. Aiki Hipolito Konno, school paper adviser, said. Training for Campus Journalists was conducted by different professors coming from the different universities in the Philippines at the Dominican College of Tarlac (DCT) in Capas, this city from June 22 to 24.
